SPECIAL CLASSES

Want to learn a new craft or skill? Sign up for one of our special classes for guided instruction through the process. You’ll leave with a completed project and a new skill. RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED. These classes are geared towards adult students.

Classes must be paid in full at the time of registration. If you cannot attend a class you will be given store credit towards another class, drop-in crafting or any other program we offer.

Do you have a large group who would like to paint burlap door hangers or any of our wooden door hangers? Call us to schedule a private class. We can do door hanger classes for as few at 8 painters.

Our January Tween/Teen Friday Night will be this 11″x14″ Winter Raccoon canvas painting. This one features a adorable raccoon in the falling snow with a steaming cup of cocoa. We’ll work on on painting a blustery background and giving our raccoon a furry coat.

We’ll paint, learn some new techniques, hang out and eat pizza and Oreos. This class is for tweens/teens ages 10 and up. It is a drop-off event, meaning parents don’t need to stay.

The cost is $30/child and includes the canvas, paint, instruction, pizza and drinks.

Parent/Child Snowy Night Canvas

This snowy January we’ll learn new techniques to paint a Snowy Night. We’ll work with a paint wash, blending and sketching our own snow people as we recreate our own version of Van Gogh’s “Starry Night.”

We call it Parent/Child, but we welcome moms, dads, grandmas, grown-up friends, or babysitters working with their kids.

Adult and child pairs will each paint one canvas together. The cost is $30 for 1 child/1 adult or $50 for 2 children/1 adult (painting 2 canvases). This class is best for kids ages 7 & up. I don’t recommend this for first time painters as some of the techniques are more challenging.

We will limit the class to just 6 families.
