Mommy & Me Preschool Art

Join us for our Preschool Process Art Class, meeting every Wednesday from 10-10:45 am. Kids ages 2-5 will work with their grown-ups to create fun, developmentally appropriate projects.

Process Art is child-driven, and celebrates the experience of discovery. The final product is always unique and the focus is on the creation of the art, not the outcome. Holding a paint brush or scissors, playing with clay, finger painting and stamping with sponges are all experiences that help develop fine motor skills and those essential pre-writing skills that kids need before kindergarten.

Each class meets for 45 minutes, with the first 30 minutes being directed by the teacher and the last 15 minutes are for the child to explore more of the process we are learning.

Our Fall session will be 6 weeks long and is $72 for 1 adult/1 child or $90 for 1 adult/2 children. Classes are on Wednesdays, Aug. 21, 28, Sept. 4, 11, 18, 25.
